WHY DIDN'T I GET THIS SOONER??

Finally arrived after months in order... but it was worth it!!! Removing GEL polish is a pain especially that I only want to soak the nail with the polish and not have the acetone touch my skin (I can't imagine acetone is good for skin for any extended period of time). So here's my process for removing get nailpolish:
-cut up 10 1"x2" (more or less) tinfoil
-roll up 10 teeny cotton balls size of qtip
-prepare these purple clips and acetone (100% pure)
-soak a cotton ball in acetone... place flat on fingernail (cover as much of the nail as possible, but doesn't have to be perfect because the acetone flows to the entire nail usually)... wrap foil around tip of finger covering cotton well.... clip this purple thing over the foil.... repeat on all fingers on one hand... wait a few minutes (2-3 minutes seem to be plenty for this technique)... remove clip, foil, cotton... polish will now be wrinkly... with a soft cuticle pusher (or your finger nail), softly scrape the polish right off
-repeat above step on the other hand

They do as described hold a cotton pad on the nail to "soak off" however, I find it takes so long if I can even get the polish to soak off. The reason I find is the acetone evaporated and I have to reapply several times which wastes a lot of acetone. Also I think the acetone does get enough warmth like it would being in foil. It is easier then wrapping foil on your own nails but, it would be faster to use foil and do one hand at a time then use these on both hands.

Such a simple concept, but man do they work so well and are much easier, more convenient and less frustrating than having to cut up and wrap little bits of foil without the cotton falling out. AND how in the world did they ship them to me directly from China for so cheap?? I use with Onyx Professional Soak Off Shellac & Gel Nail Polish Remover and 325pcs Lint Free Nail Art Gel Polish Remover Cotton Pad Nail Wipe and they take the gel polish off like magic! My only complaint is that these are very narrow and barely fit over my thumb, but I manage to squeeze it in there - it just doesn't hold so close that the polish lifts off as easily as my fingers.

These are great little aids and getting off gel polish. I was a little worried because the price they weren't going to be tight enough on my fingers but I found that a little bit a cotton with acetone and ease clipped on worked amazingly it was so much easier to use these than it was to wrap aluminum voile around the tips of my fingers like I'm used to. It's a pretty purple purple color and it is hard to do other things with these on your fingers but I Think that no matter what you use to soak off gel polish this is going to take away your ability to do anything else for 5 to 10 minutes while its working. You will not be able to use these to get off fake nails though there is nothing that would hold liquid it just holds the cotton onto your finger. It has a nice firm grip to where you can do it looser or tighter depending on how hard you push it down.
I'm giving this product a five star rating because I think that as far as something to help you hold cotton on your nails it's pretty much as good as it can get.
