I've used these to make about 12 batches of stones now, and this set from The Mold Store is particularly nice for my needs. The stones that come out of these molds are more easily "stackable" and fit together more tightly than the Drystack "Ledgestone" sets these guys sell. But the molds here also blend nicely. So if you have a "Ledgestone" set, don't worry about this "Stackstone" set not blending together. The stones play off each other nicely. This set has skinnier stones and a couple nice smaller sized stones to help fill in a staggered look more easily. And these molds aren't as tapered as the Ledgestone ones I have. It's nice for creating less a gap between the stones, but also makes releasing them out of the molds just a tad harder... Not a problem, it just requires a little more finessing and maybe a couple "baby burping" taps with my palm to get them out.

The only thing I dislike about this set is the big kahuna stone. I'm sure you can guess which one it is in the description pictures. It's too big (it's one big mold with 4 stones carved out), and the faux seams between the stones just look too artificial for my taste. I'd rather have had 4 separate molds. Weird thing is, they count that one big mold as 4 in the set of 20. So you really get 17 molds in this set. I'd rather have had an actual 20! I'll deduct one star for that....

But really, that fault aside, the quality of these molds are very nice. They'll last many many times over. They're good hard plastic and don't feel flimsy or cheap to me. And the stones look nice. (..except for the Big Kahuna). These Drystack Stackstones stack up well and I'm enjoying the fact they play well with other sets (the Ledgestone one in particular from The Mold Store). I'm really overall happy with my purchase.

The picture I'm going to post is mixing this Drystack Stackstone and a few Drystack Ledgestone together in a small layout just so you get an idea.
