Did a good job of sealing the oil drain port

Did a good job of sealing the oil drain port; however, the head of the bolt is so soft that it stripped easily the first and only time I installed it. I will need to throw it away after the next oil change as there is very little left to grab and I'm sure it will not be able to be installed again. Too bad. Good idea, but very, very poor quality.

Worked perfectly in my 2006 E320. No issues or problems to report. I have only removed it once so I don't know about long term use.
Solved the problem on stripped threads on my Yamaha outboard engine

I stripped the drain plug on my 4 stroke Yamaha 150 outboard motor. The OEM plug had about 10mm of threads however there are about 20mm of threads in the engine. The Smart-O R11 oil drain plug has about 20mm of threads and it took up just fine in the remaining 10mm of threads This saved me the considerable expense of putting in HeliCoils. So far no oil leaking. I could not find any other 14mm 1.5 pitch by 20 mm long plug. I am ordering a spare. Thank you for a great product.

Works perfect in our GLK350, and i think it will out last the SUV. My only complaint is that the size of the nut is smaller than the OEM plug.
