If your kid is 3-5 years old and loves transformers than this is excellent choice. Its not scary, not difficult to transform and very durable. My kids are playing a lot with this toy. Its a myth to find a one ideal toy, but this one gets very close.

Having bought other transforming toys for my 3 year old, I can attest to the fact that Playskool Heroes line of Rescue Bots are favored for their [basically] one-step transforming ability. He takes this toy everywhere, and we have since added other Rescue Bots to our collection. They all play together and go on missions together; inspiring great creative play. We already know that another Playskool Rescue Bot purchase in the plans!
