Not what I thought it was.

I have a custom arch top with a plain fingerboard. I tried the simple dots they sell and they looked real and didn't come off, and I couldn't feel them when I played. Over 2 years have passed and they still looked good. Then I decided to try a fancy design and it did not disappoint. They went on easy and it was a fun dyi. And it looks really good. Almost indistinguishable from the real thing. Of course they can't last forever, but in a few years I'll probably want a change. The residual glue is hard to get off, but a little alcohol works fine. Enjoy.
