Even though it/s just a 1/4" impact driver, it still generates some serious torque and it will surprise you. I was in a rush to assemble our heavy dining room table and started using this to work the allen head bolts. Completely blew out one of the heads and now it's a nice round hole. (But the table is secure!)
This impact driver works extremely well for UNbolting things, just... reconsider something else before using it for fastening.

Great tool for the money. Yeah, I'm a Craftsman guy and always have been. The tools have never let me down. New batteries have lifted the Brand to a new level. I have ten year old battery tools that have new life. Some of my employees have fallen for the other big brand tools and paid more. I just put the cost effective savings of Craftsman back into the company.

Although this is a previous model, not latest, it actually fits my hand much better! Great price, arrived in Bulk package which is fine. THIS IS NOT NEWEST VERSION!!! Product description says that it is the newest version but it is the old one. As far as the old one is concerned, I love it! It works great and I'm having no issues with it. I am giving the 5 stars for the product itself. As far as the seller is concerned, I personally can't stand someone who is dishonest. I will not be doing business with them again.

Wow - drive any bolt or screw. Way more power than a drill. But that's a double-edged sword, too, because this thing has no clutch. If you don't release the trigger and stop at the right place, it will drive screws all the way through your wood, splintering it to bits. I guess that's just the way these work. I reserve it for really difficult driving tasks like driving long lag screws into studs. Works great and is very compact.
