This tint percentage reader was able to check my tint percent with very close accuracy, this model specifically is used within some law enforcement departments which is a good sign for the quality and accuracy of the product itself.
When using it make sure you are working with a window that is clean, and not too thick for the meter to slide over. This has several applications for your vehicle, be it you're checking your windows to make sure they are at a legal level of percentage within your state or if you install tint on your own or for a company to verify that the tint bought is the correct percentage it was sold as.
One thing I would like to add though is although this meter works well, the price is a lot for someone who is only going to use it a couple times for personal purposes or for friends, so make sure if you do buy it you will get your moneys worth out of it.

I brought this product to help with pc stops. In sc window tint is 27 percent. Which clearing most don't get. I would recommend you take the class that is provided by the company within the booklet. Also when using this it is not your pc for the stop. Your pc is the window tint. The reason I bought this is for community policing to explain and show the drivers their tint level to deescalate any issues for the stop. However drivers need to have a sticker on the windows showing their tint levels.
