Feels cheap, makes pistol feel like a toy gun

First off, I got this product to add a light rail to my Beretta 92, to keep for home defense. So I wasn't concerned about the lack of holsters for a BC2 equipped Beretta. However, when I opened the package I was shocked at how thin, pliable, and frankly cheap the plastic felt. Not only did the plastic grips feel thin and cheap, but they felt slick too. If I was to use this, I would have had to use grip tape or some other grip enhancer. Unfortunately, the front retention nut (that is supposed to be held from turning by a cutout in the plastic) kept turning free while I was trying to tighten the front screw.
In short, I don't feel this is a quality product I could trust in any serious/dangerous situation. And that's kind of the whole point isn't?

Awesome product! I love the way it looked on my gun and the way it felt. It Made my Beretta 92 FS look like a totally different gun! My only complaint is that the lever you push down to field strip the gun wouldn't budge at first...It was hitting the plastic. The grip was a hair to big under the lever. I had to push like crazy to get It to go down. (insanely hard) Then I couldn't get it back up...I just kept pushing it up and down over and over (Breaking my thumb lol) until the lever wore a little groove in the grip. After working it over and over and over I was finally able to get the lever to go up and down (still with resistance, But manageable) Other than that it's awesome! Would have gotten 5 stars if it wasn't for the lever issue.

This is a solid product that will provide an under rail for your 92FS or M9 Beretta. This is a very well thought out design that accommodates the slide catch/release lever as well as the take down pin for field stripping the firearm. I've only put 200 rounds through the pistol since applying these grips & rail and so far there hasn't been any issues with the grips/rail itself. The rail is spec'd to picatinny measurements, if I am not mistaken, as my weaver attachment fits, but not snugly.. this is no issue for me, as the attachment is a light and it does its job when affixed to this system. The only gripe that I have on these, is the smooth areas around the grips. The protruding squares provide enough traction to keep the gun firmly held, provided you're gripping it well, but with the added weight of the rail system, an attachment, and a fully loaded magazine, this traction is diminished quite a bit with a loosened grip on the firearm.

feels kind of cheap and flimsy, I've bought carved wood grips for less. BUT.. once mounted to the gun they're sandwiched nice and tight, a complete and proper add-on rail. Proper fit, including the trigger guard hardware. Light fits perfectly.
I give it 4 out of 5 because as I say they're flimsy for the price, BUT they fit well and work. Feels like a Glock's lower, but better, a steel frame within. also it doesn't come with custom grip screws, the Beretta grip screws don't seat in the wells properly therefore it looks tacky, but they pin proper. So overall I recommend.
