I received 6 pairs of 6 different colors - a lighter grey, a darker grey, green, dark blue, maroon and pink. They fit just right, not to loose or tight. They end at my knees. They slip down a bit during the course of the day, but I prefer that to a band that is too tight at the top. The slippage is minimal on my average sized calves. For colder months I like knee high socks. These are not super thick, but they are not thin trouser socks either. So far they have held up well for washing and wearing.

Not thick enough

Love these, very comfortable, they don't slide down, the colors are great, but sadly one already developed a hole after only three wears. The rest are going strong, so I may have just gotten unlucky.

Very cute, very comfortable. The colors are gorgeous. I'm sensitive to elastic, but the bands on these socks don't bother my skin.

Update: I've worn and washed these once a week since I bought them and they are still in great condition compared to other socks I've bought. I wear these to work, where I'm on my feet all day, sometimes for 16 hours a day, and there's no wear through on the heels or the toes, where I usually experience hoes from my toe nails. They stay up just fine, the elastic doesn't wear out during the day. The colors are still bright, with the exception of the off-white pair with pink top, which is a little dingy from color transfer from my jeans. Color-safe bleach might help with that, but it doesn't bother me. I'll definitely by these or maybe the same socks in a different design when I need socks again.

I purchased the polka dot pattern of Mamia's design choices. There are six pairs per set for this choice. The polka dots are on a solid color background of: black, taupe, green, grey, crème, and red. Made from 98 percent polyester and 2 percent Spandex, I found these socks to be quite soft and comfortable. They are not thin in weight by any means. I guess you could say they are of a medium weight.

I found these socks to fit very well. The calf portion of the knee sock is tight, but still comfortable. These knee socks do not fit too tightly in the foot. Additionally, my toes are not pinched. (For reference: I wear a size 8 narrow and the fit is perfect.)

These knee socks are packaged individually and could easily be separated for stocking stuffers at the holiday time. This is a good decent sock. I am very pleased with this purchase.
