Pretty much what I wanted

This mat is pretty much what I wanted. Doesn't slide around on my desk. 95% transparent, with some texturing so I can see the pretty marble top that is my desk (great grandfather's office desk). In fact, I put some postcards under the top left and right corners so I could see where the edges are in dim light.
I'm a little disappointed that my wireless mouse does not really work on it. Although the mat is textured and the marble pattern irregular enough to send a signal to the mouse eye, the cursor skips around as though it can't gauge where it is on the surface, so I went back to my old mouse pad.
Other than that, I'm very happy with the mat. It came packed well in a flat box. One user wished it had been rolled up to take up less room for delivery. We have a porch so that wasn't a problem; I'd rather not have this thing be rolled up and have a permanent curl in it. Prompt delivery, ahead of schedule.

Not what I expected but certainly difficult to choose a product like this if not placed in front of you. I was wanting something much more clear and also much more supple. This mat works but is rather hard so needs to be taped to my desk to stay in place. It is so dense that I do not see much difference than writing on paper placed on my existing glass desk top. Its on my desk but I am not sure for how long.

Packaging was great, shipping time was great considering "COVID prime" however, the sticker on the item itself was not great. Couldn't peel it off easily enough and it was stuck to the desk mat. Took a while to scrub it off, and still has some sticky markings. Why do they have to stick such a big product sticker on it. Not good.

Happy as everything with this! Arrived NOT curled up as some reviewers have complained .. BUT nicely shipped flat as a pancake ready to use .. rougher side down .. placed barely under the computer stand wheels to assure it will stay in place! Just GREAT!
So nice in fact that after paying hundred of dollars yesterday getting my carpet professionally cleaned .. I am ordering another one to place between my hubby's easy chair and his ottoman in his "Man Cave". Found out with the carpet cleaner .. THAT area was pretty soiled despite the fact that we do not wear shoes in the house.
By the way .. I am the 5'2 questioner re if it would work for a computer stand .. YES it does work! Really glad I took a chance on it!

We had one of the soft vinyl ones. It got all wavy, making it very difficult to write on it, and dirt got under it, and it was just generally miserable. So we got this to replace it, and it is great. It stays in place, protects the desk, and keeps a decent surface for writing.
