Really helpful for my wood stove.

These tongs seem sturdy and well made. I've only used them once so far, but I couldn't have moved the logs around any other way. I like that they fold up and fit in the basket with my other tools, and the tips meet so even embers can be picked up safely. Nice tongs!

Edited to add a star. I do wish they were longer but these do work well. We wish the tips were shaped differently to pick up smaller pieces but all in all these are so much better than just a poker.

These are designed for relatively light duty work. If you use a stove or fireplace to heat your home and move larger pieces of wood you will be disappointed. For heavy use they are flimsy and lack the proper ergonomics. The pair I had from many years ago that finally gave out was far superior in every way. For my use I would not purchase this unit again. For fun with a fireplace or campfire I guess they would be fine.

Delivery was prompt and accurate; item arrived in perfect condition. The fireplace tongs are perfect size for our poolside firepit. A nice bonus feature is that the tongs fold up into a small size that allows us to store them inside the firepit in the off-season so they won't get "lost" in summertime storage.

Well made with good materials. I will be using with an offset smoker, moving wood as needed to stoke the fire. I have only used one time so far, but they worked well. I would definitely recommend. Good quality product at a competitive price.
