Perfection

I've been using this controller to play games from the Wii shop channel that require a classic controller. I always played with the little white oval- shaped one before this which was very uncomfortable to play with. This However is marvelous. There is plenty of room to rest each palm on the 'prongs' and every button is at a perfect distance to mash away. I also love the fact that the X, Y, A, and B are all different shapes and sizes which makes it easy to find without looking. There's also the added bonus that I can use this on my Wii U and not just the Wii.
Wonderful product, cant wait to play more.

Better than the Pro Controller

Works extremely well for many different games on the Wii U. I personally use it mainly for smash 4 and MK8. I think it's significantly better than the much more expensive pro controllers that they sell for the Wii U, especially for someone that grew up on the gamecube. The only problem is that it's not 100% able to stand up to intense playing for more than 1-2 years as I just had to buy a new one after having one and using it extremely often for that long.
Really awesome colorful controllers

Adorable pink controller! I always loved the Gamecube controller design so being able to use Gamecube controller for Wii U or even PC is great! I love it! It works really well! I'm actually using it as a PC computer game controller using the Wiinusoft software. The controller is really good quality all around. I guess the only thing that could have been better would have been the shoulder buttons, they kind of have a kind of cheap plastic "springy" kind of effect to it when you press them, I think they could have been better quality but it's okay. I really have no real complaints about the PDP Wired Fight pads, I have the Yoshi one, the Toadstool one, Samus one and this pink Peach one and they're all really good quality.
Works great, lightweight, responsive, and able to be used with more games than a standard gamecube gamepad.

(Luigi version, but I doubt the color effects performance any)
lightweight, responsive buttons, sticks work well.
Not a fan of the long pull on the LZ and RZ triggers, but every other button is great. Some one was complaining that if you let go of a stick when fully right or left it will bounce back past center causing your character to turn back, I did not experience this once in the few hours I've used this gamepad. I noticed no input lag and it does work with multiple games, not just smash brothers.
I don't think it feels cheap like others say, it is just light, everyone is use to controllers having battery packs and rumble motors these days. I also tried to twist the body a bit, didn't notice any flex, you would have to purposely torque on it to do damage. My youngest son has dropped it a couple times already, still works fine.

Works with the new Nintendo NES Classic

The controller plugs on the new console are the same as the plugs that connect to the port on Wii remotes. The A and B buttons serve the same purpose as those on the Classic controller. The + and - buttons work as Start and Select. Either the joystick or directional pad can be used to control your game and I really like the feel of the joystick on these classic games. The Home button can be used instead of the Reset button on the console to bring you back to the home/save screen. Modern controller fits the hands better than the classic rectangle.
