Good tool for the DIYer

I was able to successful fix the stripped threads on my Saturn aluminum oil pan. There are parts listed in the instructions that were not included in this kit. This was a bit confusing but I was able to get past this and do what I needed to do. If the instructions were better I would have given this a 5-star rating.

I run a repair center and I can't tell you how many times we get a car serviced by other shops that DESTROY aluminum oil pans such as those on VW's and Dodge Chargers by over-torqueing them. This kit is all you need. Taps ensure real clean cut. I'd advise getting better oil drain plug washers, however. The washers are of soft metal like those on BMW's that need to be replaced each oil change.
