  • Research has demonstrated that mothers of twins who breastfeed simultaneously, have a higher prolactin level; Prolactin is the key hormone responsible for signaling milk production
  • It can also be difficult to bottle feed two babies at a time but with the help of the my best friend twins plus feeding pillow, both babies can receive your attention at once

Safe and conducive way to BF two!
Caitlin, MplsMarch 26, 2018
Breast-feeding my twins was possible because of this pillow! I couldn't imagine trying to breast-feed two babies at the same time using anything else. The ledge of the pillow helps keep the babies in place.
Gets FLAT very quickly
Ryan EmerickFebruary 3, 2018
I really WANT to like this nursing pillow. I purchased it in July 2017 to use with my twins who were born a little over a month later. We didn't start using it until September as the twins weren't able to breastfeed until then. It has been less than 5 months since I started using the Breatfriend pillow, and it has flattened out so significantly that I now have to use other pillows to prop up this pillow so that I can nurse them using it. When I say it has flattened significantly, I mean that it is now less then 2 1/2" in some places when the twins are NOT even laying on it. Other areas are not as flat initially, but flatten like a pancake as soon a baby is placed on the pillow. My twins were born prematurely, and are still only in the 5th & 10th percentiles, so one would assume that a pillow marketed as a twin nursing pillow would be able to support the weight of 2 small babies without getting flat since their weights are well below what "normal" babies' weights would be. I can't imagine how quickly it would have flattened if I had full term babies or babies that were chunky. I really liked this pillow when I first started using it, but now that it's so flat, it just hurts my back because I have to hunch over or use lots of extra pillows in order for the twins to reach to nurse. Unfortunately, I waited too long to make a complaint that the window of return had closed, so I can't get my money back or a replacement. Really wish this had worked until my twins were 1 like we had hoped. It was a good pillow while it lasted, and I wish I could just get a replacement so I could continue to use a nursing pillow until we wean them.
Great Idea, bad clip
David Brice CarlisleDecember 29, 2017
Carpel Tunnel / soar wrists is what you can expect to experience as a new mom. This clip was too stiff for me to open! Had to return. The other model of My Breast Friend had the clip too loose and it kept coming unsnapped.

I wish they made this with a smooth, secure, easy to open metal clip. I'd even be willing to pay $20 more for that model! The idea is great, just wish it had a more secure and user friendly metal clip.
Great product with some room to improve

This is pretty much the only way I've been able to tandem feed my twins; I love how well it supports them. The slip cover holds up well in the washer and dryer. I have used the pillow with and without the back piece. Cons: I wish they had put the loop side of the Velcro on the main pillow... The hook side rips up the babies socks, my shirts, and/or any pillows on the couch if I'm not using the back piece. The lumbar support is great but the fabric holding the foam has stretched on mine so the lumbar support pad flops around. Now that my baby belly is gone, I can't get the pillow tight around myself. Overall, still a great product and it feels like it securely supports my twins. The pouch also works great for keeping burp cloths handy!
Great in theory but poorly fitting
Jennifer LyonJuly 25, 2017
Only three months postpartum but this pillow fit is big; there is a gap between pillow and body no matter how tight I adjust the belt. Not a fan; went back to the regular single brestfriend nursing pillow which is amazing (bought twin size as wanted a larger one for my growing baby).
