These are very functional heavy duty wading shoes. I bought one size up from my normal shoe size and they fit just right. I have only used mine in the marsh for duck hunting which I consider to be a pretty strenuous test of a wading shoe. I do feel that the sole and ankle support would make them just as suitable for use in a rocky stream. I'm happy with mine and would buy them again.

Does the job nicely. Needs a zipper lock to hold it in place (I use velcro straps around my ankles). If the soles were a bit thicker I would have given them 5 stars.
