Good shave balm, a little scenty

I like the Nivea products (I go between this and the Aveeno lines). It could be me, but this seems to "energize" my face. It goes on without a greasy feel. My only complaint is that my wife (who has the nose of a bloodhound) thinks the scent is too strong. I can hardly smell anything, but I know better than to put this on just before bedtime.

Like other customers, I have also received Nivea "Maximum Hydration" and not the Original Replenishing Balm as the product picture indicates. I'm not sure if Nivea changed it's packaging or if this is a different product. This scent is harsh and smells more like perfume rather than a men's after shave. The original replenishing balm scent was the best.

I have used the original label for some many years now. I ordered this product because the one in stores has been replaced with a max hydration label. What I received to my disappointment was the max hydration even though the image and description say original.. I use the product on my head as I shave it daily. The new formula makes my head very oily after several hours. I have experienced the same thing with other brands as well as the sensitive version and that is why I have used the original for probably 12 years. Guess it's time to waste money on several more products trying to find the right one. The scent of the original was so much better as well.
