I've purchased this Plum Organics Apple & Broccoli pouch from the supermarket in the past and my son loved it so I ordered it on Amazon to save some money. But something is not right with the batch (2 boxes, 12 pouches) that I received.. The contents of the pouch are super liquidy, the consistency of apple juice. I could not feed it to my son out of sheer concern for his health.

I'm an adult. I eat baby food. There, I said it. Afflicted with a crappy auto-immune disease that hurts my mouth (Lichen Planus) almost all food is painful to eat. So I've given in to sucking down various, bland nutrients as fast as I can. There is not joy in this. And some baby food is vile. Babies, it turns out, will eat the vilest of foods. This food is not vile. It tastes good, though I still try to ingest it with a quickness. All hail this organic pulp.

Whomever invented these baby pouches should get a medal. No need to transport spoons, bibs, or worry about slopping baby food out of an open container. Plum pouches are especially good because of their attention to the ingredients. I keep two of these in the diaper bag at all times, and another in my purse just in case. If your baby is distracted, you can reapply the lid and try again in a few minutes. I roll these up from the bottom as baby eats and end up with a consistent result - clean, happy, quickly fed baby on the go. Yay for being able to order a case. Pick your favorite blend and stock the pantry, because you will use them all!
