I have an silky's Hand saw, too. I've also tried American style saws, also. This saw is good in price and cut as well as silky!! I am very pleased with this purchase!

Very, very sharp. Cut through branch like butter. Unfortunately, I got a little carried away with my new pruner/hand saw. Sliced right through my hand. I am ok, just need to remember to wear gloves with this one. This beast is so sharp that I did not even realize that I had cut my hand until I saw red. Ouch!

Terrible dealer, sent me just case and no pruner. I knew package felt too light... opened it up and found out why...

And I thought my last pruning saw was this best ever . . . this one absolutely tops the bill. I cut through a two-inch diameter pine root in seconds with this one! More lightweight than my last one, too. The variegated teeth have fantastic sawing power and don't get bogged down in the middle of the branch. Highly recommend this one!
