Great Price.
Made Of 304 SS

Valves are not 316 as stated but 304. Still okay for the price, but do not open easily. Have not installed on anything as I purchased other valves to use in place so no comment on there actual use. Appear to be slightly lower quality than the other valves I purchased but look like they would be fine as a seldom used shutoff.

First impression I thought was good, I bought two of these for shutoff valves to my hot water heater which also had a stainless steel connector. High pressure in the house is 65 psi. Upon turning the water back on I discovered water spraying everywhere. The valves leaked at the connections with SS Teflon tape. So I tried pipe dope. Still sprayed water, then I tried both which stopped the leaks at the connections (which were incredibly tight) and then they started to leak from the connection from the two pieces of the ball valve (BOTH OF THEM). I tried tightening them, removing them and checking for defects, pipe doping the threads. Nothing worked so I kept trying to tighten the connections. Now I am not crazy strong or anything, but before I could get the leak to stop I stripped the threads of 316 STAINLESS STEEL!That wasn't a fun experience. So now I have only one ball valve that might still leak and no hot water again until the hardware store opens in the morning. Will never buy from this seller again. I normal human being should not have the physical strength even with pipe wrenches to strip 316 SS.
