My 14 month old son developed a really intense case of separation anxiety one Friday night and this lasted for DAYS. He only wanted me (mom) and refused to go to sleep unless I was near. He was waking up in the middle of the night crying and needed my soothing too. I researched tools to help him overcome separation anxiety and this bunny popped up. I was hesitant to purchase yet another stuffed animal, but was desperate to try anything new.

OH MY GOODNESS, WHAT A LIFESAVER. The day we received the bunny in the mail, I wore it in my shirt as I was hanging around the house--so my scent could get on it. I gave it to him that night right before bed and he was so excited to have something to hold. That very first night with the bunny he slept through the night! This has continued for over 3 weeks now and he is still going strong! He sleeps through the night every night now (10-12 hours) and he does not have any issues with me putting him down to bed when he's still awake. I can leave the room, he knows it, and is totally fine! I truly and honestly cannot believe that this bunny worked so well, but it really did. If you're on the fence, it is very much worth a try! I do still tuck it into my shirt often to keep my scent on there; I'm honestly not sure if that's necessary anymore, but it's working so I'm not messing with the system! Oatmeal Bunny is a hero.

I got this for my 2 month old because she likes to hold things but most items are too big for her hands or are too hard and I worry about her hitting herself. Also all the little animals are filled with stuffing. This lovey is soft and she can hold onto it without any help. There is no filling in it which is perfect. She snuggles with this every day. She has to have it to sleep or comfort her. I would definitely recommend to anyone who has a little one that likes to hold stuff( shirt, hands, fingers).

I know most people buy these for "human babies," but I bought mine for my "fur baby"--aka my cat Megan--for her 19th birthday! She was the sweetest girl who was battling 2 different incurable forms of cancer at this point, though we didn't know this for sure until a bit later. She had the best care at home & with a specialty vet school hospital. They had already advised us to to buy microwaveable warming disks for her to sleep on since she had lost body fat. I happened upon this looking for a "friend" Megan could cuddle with when she was resolute about having time away from us. (She had earned the right to be persnickety at her age!) Megan LOVED this rabbit & we called her Oatmeal because of her color description. I see there are "silky" versions out now, but it's the TEXTURE that gives this bunny her warmth & extraordinarily high "cuddle factor!" Megan spent her last several months dragging her Oatmeal bunny wherever she wanted to nap. They were inseparable. After a rapid health decline, our "vet posse" helped us ease Megan to heaven while Oatmeal & I held her tight--rest her sweet strong soul! I'm an adult, but I still sleep with Oatmeal on my bed, cuddling her when I need to feel close to my Megan. Our other cats often seek Oatmeal out on my bed for naps now, kneading her & cuddling her warm soft texture. This is a 5-star rabbit in every regard, given to a 100-star senior kitty who loved her to bits!! She holds up so well in the washing machine & I'm sure she would make an awesome gift for an infant! In my case, she was perfect for MY baby who happened to be a 19-year-old cat! Megan adored her!! So for any "baby" on your shopping list, grab this bunny & you'll be giving them so much more than a super-soft, warm "cuddle buddy," you'll be giving them their new best friend!!
