These storage containers are fabulous. Not only do the two containers snap together to double the amount of eggs you take, but the handle is great. The containers can be used to carry many other foods by taking out the egg holders and just putting ice in the lower snap on and shrimp, for instance, in the top container. Super and I am going to buy another one for a Christmas or birthday gift.

Egg-tainer is just what i was looking for but was disappointed when i ordered the pack of 2 and i only received 1. Delivered on time but was missing half my order.

I use this 'egg carrier' so many things I don't know where to start. Have an ice block the same size, so when I'm transporting deviled eggs, I take out the bottom insert and replace with the ice. Keep the eggs cool, and since everything snaps together, no worry about spilling. Also use this idea for shrimp - if only taking 12 leave the insert in. But if more shrimp, take both inserts out and put ice in the lower holder and as much shrimp as fits in the top. Snap-'N-snap. The only problem... the hostess wants to keep the stack set. So I brought 6 of them and take them with food instead of a bottle of wine. Or sometimes with both.

My item came quickly (AmazonPrime) and item was intact - no cracks, splits or broken pieces. For a relatively inexpensive item, it looks like it will work perfectly to use when I make deviled eggs, or small cupcakes (as the 'egg' holder portion is a separate piece and can be removed). They will have to be small cupcakes as this item doesn't have a lot of room between the bottom and top, but I knew this going in and like the size of it.
