POOR QUALITY; TOO THIN. I DIDN'T THINK AN ARMSTRONG PRODUCT WOULD BE SO UNACCEPTABLE. DISAPPOINTED.

It's difficult to order an item of this kind online. My husband and I are snowbirds, and we left FL while some renovation work was ongoing at our home. We needed new flooring for the bathroom, and it had to coordinate with the color and pattern of the wallpaper. I bought three cases of these tiles because I've had other fine Armstrong products on my CT house, so I naively presumed this flooring would be of high quality, too. The tiles were delivered to the FL address, and the contractor who was to install them told me it the product was "paper thin," but that it did match the wall motif. I knew I couldn't ship back three boxes of the flooring, as I wouldn't receive full credit just because "I'd changed my mind" or "I no longer needed it...." So I told him to go ahead with the installation because he'd spent a lot of time preparing the floor for the tiles.

Well, the installer was 100% correct. The tiles were too thin for him to grout between their seams. They continue to "move," shrinking and pulling away from one another. I've tried filling in the gaps with putty, but the floor looks like a road map, and I'm planning to bite the bullet and completely replaced the flooring in both bathrooms.

I haven't seen the finished floors except via a photo sent with email. It looks good, but I know it won't have any longevity; because we're closing in on being ancient folks, we're not really worried about this flooring lasting longer than we do.
