This bluetooth bulb/speaker works really well. I currently use it in my bathroom and it is paired with an iPad. The sound that comes out of it is really good. One thing I did not like was that the bulb dimming settings do not save in the app. Minor annoyance but otherwise I am happy with it.

I put this in my ceiling fixture in my bathroom and have an echo dot (2nd generation) next to my sink. I paired the Sengled to my Dot and now when I turn on the light I hear a little jingle telling me the Sengled turned on and then a few seconds later a little bluetooth connection sound comes from the Sengled telling me it connected to the Dot. Hands free news, weather, music, smart home control, etc. The sound is good, but the bathroom I use it in is pretty small. Audiophiles will be disappointed - but no audiophile would expect to pay this price for great audio. It is an affordable way to add Alexa to my bathroom with okay-ish audio quality and, hey, it's a nice light too!

This speaker works awesome for music, I was really impressed by the sound. BUT it doesn't work well for Alexa.
1. You need a separate app for the light control, Alexa cannot dim, and you cannot connect to your phone simultaneously to change the brightness either.
2. The major issue is when not in use it has a power save mode and takes a few seconds to come back on.
This causes Alexa to miss the first few words in whatever response she gives if not in use.
This is really annoying and you can't tell if she heard you, like the time my daughter added 6 ketchup "to the shopping list". I moved the speaker it to the bathroom and it makes for awesome bathroom tunes now sans Alexa.

My porch light fixture doesn't take the larger floodlight sized bulbs, and this was the only A19 (regular) sized bulb speaker I can find. Pairing is easy, the light is bright (and dimmable), and most importantly of all, the speakers sound great.

This speaker is surprisingly loud for it's size. For my use I have it above the shower area. It is very loud and very clear, the sound on it is quite surprising. I didn't think it was anything special until I was directly under the speaker, and then it was pretty obvious how loud it was actually playing. Using at as an area speaker, it is more than adequate. Meaning it will produce sound loud enough to listen in a large area or room. Such as a garage or master bedroom. I'm not using it with any smart devices other than Bluetooth on my phone, so I can't answer anything in that regards. It connects immediately as soon as the light is turned on and the phone is near enough. I downloaded the app, which allows for changing some setting on the light/speaker itself, but I don't use it. I leave it on the brightest light output and the loudest sound setting, then adjust to a comfortable listening volume on my phone. The light output was equivalent to a 60w LED bulb I had in the same location prior to installation. It's a great speaker and I'm glad I bought it.
