I have bough these filters two times now. You can really tell a difference in the taste of the water that comes out of the water dispenser. It is easy to install, make sure you read the instructions though. Our package arrived on the third day after it was ordered. Satisfied with my purchase.
this is brand new or is recycled??

Slide right into the dispenser we got from Costco years ago; I like how easy this unit is designed for filter swaps... local, in-line shutoff, unscrew existing one, drop it out, screw in new one.
Be sure to try and get like 3+ gallons of water out of this thing, because as you fill it's draining the chilled or heated cistern first... so to flush the charcoal filter you need to completely drain those internal containers and make the unit run water to refill them.
My trick was to get a large lemonade or igloo container and press both HOT and COLD paddles at the same time to drain the unit as quickly as possible and just hold it there, letting it fill it up.
