Nice robe but terrible ODOR

One star because of the ODOR. Otherwise I liked the robe, albeit rather too large. I'm 5'5, slender at 116 lbs and ordered the sm/medium. If the robe didn't stink (with no guarantee that a washing or 2 (or 3!) would get rid of it, I would be returning it to re-order it in the xsmall/small. But the smell is awful and 2 other customers responded to my question whether washing helped. Both said "no". There are other customers who said there was no odor, so it's a puzzle.
Love the shawl collar and luxe feel!

Very pretty light/med blue color, very soft robe. I purchased the extra small for my 12- yr old niece, and proud to give it as a gift (which I'm sure she will love). She is about 5'2" and very slim. Although it will be very roomy on her, This year she can cuff up the sleeves and wear it at above-ankle length and next year it will still fit. The quality is nice and it does seem that it will last at least another year or two.

Much lighter in weight than a terry cloth robe of comparable bulk, yet pleasantly thick, warm and comfy as a down-filled winter coat. The lavender color was perfectly reproduced in the photos. Too bad there is no way to reproduce the feel of the "super plush fleece" material, which is even softer and more luxurious than it looks in the pictures. The only thing that could be improved is the company's no-nonsense name, "TowelSelections." This robe looks and feels like an item that should carry some luxury clothing brand name and if it did would cost much more than the $93.99 that Amazon currently shows marked down about 50%.

Love this robe. I'm short, and have been looking for a robe that's long enough to keep me warm, but that I won't trip on going up the stairs. This robe is perfect. It's very thick, plush and warm, the color is beautiful. I washed it before I wore it, and there was barely any lint in the trap. A little warning though, if you live in a warm climate or "run hot," this robe may be too warm for you --- the fleece is very thick. Lush, incredibly soft, comfortable and beautiful. Good quality.Highly recommend!

I reviewed the ratings on a LOT of robes on Amazon before making a purchase of this one as a gift for my wife. I am happy to report that it was a very good decision to buy it. The robe is thick, very soft on the skin, and very warm. The only downside is that it definitely runs a size larger than what you think you need, so be sure to go down a full size from what you would ordinarily order. However, my wife is very happy with the extra material because she likes the fact she can wrap it around herself. She loves it. This was a good purchase that both she and I are happy that I made. You won't go wrong with this robe. Just remember that it runs LARGE, so go down a full size for a good fit.
