The metal tops smell like cheap aluminum

These are alright. The metal tops smell like cheap aluminum, which isn't too appealing. I may just replace the tops. The canister part is fine. I don't have problems with sweating.

I love these mugs. Just wish they were larger and able to hold more liquid. My only issue with them is there is a plastic ring in the top that can fall out. If that ring falls out, you're gonna have a heck of a time opening up the lid. I wish it was designed just a bit better. Also - it would be nice if some sort of device was included to clean the straws. I've made my own homemade contraption when it gets gunky with either minerals or some other dried substance (oj pulp, iced tea mix residue). I'm older and have a bit of the dropsies and these have saved my carpets on numerous ocassions. A size larger with a ring in the cap that stays put and you'd have a 5 start product.

I use these cups for some of the handmade items I sell. They are very well made, durable, and fun!
The lids are a nice brushed metal, so it doesn't show fingerprints much, which is nice. The straws are pretty thick and do not bend. The cups themselves are strong and do not crack easily even when dropped multiple times.
Do remember that these do not go in the dishwasher though, or you'll be super sad!

These are great! I buy a set every year for Burning Man. They get covered in dust, beaten up in bike baskets, dropped on the ground and used over and over for 8 days. The best one came home a little dirty, the worst was run over by a bike and cracked on the outside, but it still worked because of the double insulation. I wish the straws had caps. These are great at keeping beverages cold in extreme weather.

I try to be better at drinking water more often when I'm hanging around the house, so I decided that maybe if I got an insulated drinking container I would drink more water. I didn't need anything fancy. I remembered seeing people with insulated drinking containers that looked like a mason jar. I eventually found these.
They really are a great value, you get two of them and they are pretty well made. I wanted to give the second one to my mother who sometimes takes breakfast smoothies with her to work, since the straw is wide enough for smoothies, but she didn't want it. Well, If I ever break one I'll at least be able to replace it. Speaking of which, I have yet to drop it(we have hardwood floors). It seems pretty sturdy plastic.
I've only ever drunk water and iced tea out of it. It'll keep ice un-melted for at least 2-3 hours inside..maybe more, it all depends on the temperature the tumbler is in, I haven't tested it by taking it outside in the heat.
