Just opened the case before I wrapped this for my granddaughter for Christmas. The bridge was off and the strings unattached . Now I'm going to have to take it to a violin shop to see if they can fix it before I give it to her! Not happy!!!

This is insanely pretty and when I'm watching my child in a concert I have no doubt that that's my girl because I can see her violin clearly even from a distance it shows how beautiful it is

So so happy with this purchase! My relationship with the violin began when I was 10 and received music lessons in public school...after showing some initial interest and capacity, my Mom got me private lessons and things began to deteriorate from there..I played for about 3 years, rarely practicing and picking up some bad habits which I am struggling,40+ years later to break. Of course, having relinquished my opportunity to learn to play this beautiful instrument while young, I became obsessed with it and love the violin immensely. I promised myself that upon my retirement I would study the violin once again, and I have done so for the past three years. Although I am not musically inclined, I enjoy studying this wonderful instrument and have seen some improvement. As a child, I inherited a violin which has been in our family for 60+ years, and I also recently purchased a high-quality violin that cost me a couple of thousand dollars which I have been playing for the past couple of years. I saw pictures of this floral violin on Pinterest and assumed it was a very expensive customized instrument... I was thrilled to find that such a beautiful instrument was available for such a low cost and ordered it for myself. Prior to ordering, I read a number of reviews about the Kinglos violins and bought it expecting it would serve mainly as visual inspiration as I did not expect a quality sound. I was also aware from the reviews that it would be necessary to take the Kinglos violin into a reputable local violin repair shop and have it prepped prior to playing it, which I did. The bridge, while included, was not installed and the strings are not tightened and not of the highest quality, so I knew at a minimum these had to be addressed. I was pleasantly surprised that the Luthier had positive things to say about the violin. After looking at the bridge, he determined that minimal adjustments were required, and while he did make some adjustments for future strings of a higher quality, he indicated that the strings that came with the violin were adequate for the time being. Most importantly, he played the violin with the included bow after making his adjustments, and brought forth a beautiful rich sound, which surprised both of us. I look forward to making enough progress in my own studies so that when I play this violin in public it will not draw an excess of attention to me beyond what my talent warrants! Obviously if you are a professional, concert violinist, an inexpensive violin like this is not likely for you, but if you are looking to inspire a budding student, or are yourself an aficionado who desires to be inspired, I highly highly recommend you consider purchasing one of the Kinglos violins.

my daughter is absolutely bowled over by it,I can't play personally,but it sounds good.
