I sent as gifts. They said they loved it!!

It works fine. No complaints there however, after the first time we used it I was cleaning it, barely tap the handle on the sink and the handle popped right off. If I would have know it was that fragile I wouldn't have bought it.

These are nice sized fondue pots! Very sturdy and easy to clean. I received a quality product for a low price. Amazing!

This is an inexpensive quite stylish set that works fine as long as one is willing to heat the cheese, chocolate, broth or oil in a separate pan and then transfer it to the porcelain pot. This is annoying as it requires more cleanup because of the additional pan and utensils. The burner assembly is very cheaply made and the flame adjuster cannot be moved without holding the whole assembly which is almost impossible when burner is lit.

The traditional fondue pot, or caquelon, is made of enameled cast iron that can be used on any type of heat. Many of the larger 6-8 person fondue sets are available with this kind of pot but it is difficult to find these small 2-4 person sets with cast iron pots which is a real drawback. It would be nice if Trudeau would offer this set with 2 options: One with the cheap porcelain pot and a more expensive one with an enameled cast iron caquelon.

I finally got fed up with scraping cheese from one pot to the other and bought a "vintage" (read used) small enameled cast iron pot on ebay that fits just right on the pot stand. Instead of a $ 24 set I now have one that cost me $ 50 but at least it now works the way a fondue set really should. Surely, Trudeau could offer the same set with the right kind of pot in the $ 40-45 range, and I am quite certain that it would sell well.
