runs small everything else seems quality

Overall I really like these lederhosen, especially the price. However, please note they run a little tight. I normally wear size 32 jeans and bought size 34, thinking I'd leave a little room to grow. However, upon fitting, it's pretty snug. Maybe too snug. If I had time to return and exchange for a 36 I would have done it, but they arrived just before my Oktoberfest party. I would have struggled to justify 2x sizes up from my jean size, but please take this advice and note that you'll need to order a good bit larger than normal.

Great material but almost zero stretch so order a size up. My husband ordered a size up and it fits just perfectly. These are real leather so need to be broken in. They smell amazing! Ignore the shirt and flip flops, this is not the complete look!

I'm wearing 32" jeans right now, but these lederhosen in size 32" (according to the chart) are definitely much too small. I feel bad about returning them, because they seem well made. Ignore the people who say they are not well made or that they smell funny. I may need lederhosen again in a few months for another event, and I would absolutely reorder this brand, but 2 sizes larger than before. -1 star only because the sizing chart is off, and because I wont look dead sexy this weekend.

After becoming frustrated woodcarving with a very expensive and as it turns out cheap and torn canvas apron that was in my way more that a safety and cleanup help I came to the realization that lederhosen tracht would be the ideal clothing that both stayed out of my way and didn't make a nuisance of itself, is sturdy and long lasting, and is good protection against a slipped carving cut. I already own a black suede leather vest, American style, that I was given for Christmas in the 80s to protect me torso carving. I also have special pair of carving gloves.

Add to all that it is looks nice to wear around the house. Since I live in America I won't wear it outside the house or yard except for Oktoberfest celebrations, costume parties, and Halloween and it is also very nice for those things if a bit expensive for my budget.

The fit is true to size contrary to what many are claiming. I bought a 33" (48cm) and could of bought a 32" or even a 30" when taking into consideration the stretching and break-in period completing. That said there is a leather drawstring in the back with which you can tighten them somewhat & the suspenders when they are needed with such heavy pants. I like them better somewhat loose, eventually a bit baggy.

It comes with an extra leather drawstring and an extra button. It does not comes with an extra strap and strap binders, neither the ornate front binder or the small plain one you use to make an X in the back.

I order brown/dark brown and it's a nice brown and the stitching is clean, strong, and attractive. The outfit looks very nice. You won't be embarrassed to wear it to Oktoberfest, a costume party, Halloween; although yes, people will look at me funny when they visit my door and I'm sitting in these carving.
