Not here to in depth review plasti dip or show durability tests, because that's what youtube is for (though it turns out to be pretty tough once dry) Here's a before and after, using 4x coats of black plasti dip base coat, and 1x coat of this graphite pearl metallizer. The metallizer really goes a long way, but it DOES require some other plasi dip to be underneath it for it to stick.

Applied 4 coats Metalizer over top of 4 coats of black and everything looked great. THEN, I applied the PlastiDip Glossifier over top of the Metalizer and the whole thing peeled. Don't know if it was the Glossifier alone or a reaction with the Metalizer but it all starting peeling after two days. See pics for what I am talking about.

Worked perfectly and definitely was the perfect finish for my project. I painted my car's rims, and adding the metalizer at the end gave them a much more professional and classy look than the standard Plasti Dip matte black. VERY pleased with the results and plan on repeating the process in the future when it comes time for a fresh coat.

Love it! Wanting to cover up chrome trim but not go matte black, I used this over black plastidip on all my chrome trim. It was my first time and it came out nice and smooth. The more coats you add the more gray (like metallic gun metal gray) it gets. I did three coats and it came out better than imagined.

I only have one week with the plastidip trim, I will update over time in reference to longevity.

One picture is chrome trim before plastidip, the other is with plastidip (4 coats black as a base, 3 coats of graphite pearl)
