My calves are usually the first things to get cramps when i do alot of walking, running, or sports. I used these for traveling when walking around as a tourist in the city and on a 16km steep hike and my calves did not cramp or get as fatigued. I have large calves about 17.5 in circumference and I purchased XL, and the sizing was a good fit based on the description.

The first pair I received was for a size medium, which is clearly my size with a calf of about 14 1/4. They were so tight that they left deep indentations on tops and bottoms. After contacting the seller, they quickly gave me a complete refund and told me to try a larger size. I did and they fit and feel great! Maybe it's due to the compression, but I would order a size larger than needed. Now very happy and will order more.

I've been playing soccer since I was 4, which means I was a 13 year soccer player. In 2015, I fractured my shin (tibia stress fracture), ankle, and my metatarsals all at once. At first, it will feel pretty tight but choose according to your size- do not go up or down a size. It adjusts right away to you leg and feels very comfortable. I am so happy I took the time to buy this and thank you for helping a life-changing injury of a former athlete.
