AWFUL CASE AND EVEN WORSE SELLER! This case is NOT a professional case, more like a case for your young kid sister to use for her play makeup. It is light weight, but not in a good way. It feels like a flimsy cheap aluminum case, and the sliders don't even open fully to be able to put in a palette, you'd have to turn it to get it in and then fit the items underneath where the sliders stop. I am a professional makeup artist and there is NO WAY I could ever use this case! I don't even know how this case even has good reviews.
Even worse, the seller will negate their initial shipping costs and a 17% restocking fee from your order when refunding your money (and you WILL want a refund!) and will short your refund even MORE and stop contacting you once you write them asking for a reason you were shorted.
I ordered 8 of these for a class I am teaching for over $450 and was refunded $220. So I basically spent $230 to receive these boxes, open one, and return them the next day. AVOID THIS PURCHASE AND SELLER!!!

I was a little disappointed that it wasn't as "heavy duty'' as i thought it would be. It does come with keys but i don't think it locks...well at least i cant get it to lock and i looked and i don't even see a latch for it to lock. I have 3 kids and don't want them getting into my makeup. I do LOVE how big it is and for that reason I am going to keep it, just have to keep it put up. Also the dividers at the bottom are impossible to move or take out because of the trays : /
