but it's cheap and is useful in a pinch
P.T.November 17, 2017
The plastic and springs make actually getting a small board clamped and rotating around in this a bit janky, and the screws to set the span are cheap, but it's cheap and is useful in a pinch. If I needed this more than once every couple months I'd get a panavise instead.
This device is great. I use this all the time

This device is great. I use this all the time. This is an excellent product. The set screws are not super snug and can be moved with moderate force after tightening. However, this has never been an issue. As a matter of fact it is handy when you need to move something very slightly into position.
Handy for DIY Turret Boards
Kerry G.May 24, 2017
This is a very handy tool. I make turret boards on 1/8" Garolite and it holds them quite well. Easy to rotate the board after I install the component to solder it up. I have not found that it slips or loosens as I use it. Very rugged and reasonably priced.
Saves me time and effort on soldering boards.

I like it. It was missing a knob in it, but I could have dropped it. I just used a simple screw as a replacement.
This works well for me.
I love this stuff

This is my second purchase. I love this stuff. Very sturdy nicely built and about the right size for my electronic work den. I decided to do some more out of the box with the second one by adding flex helping hands using alligator clips and plastic flexi cooling pipes with hook-up wires.
