I don't believe this works any better than the generic ones that are slightly cheaper. In fact, this one seems to be looser than others I have purchased. I didn't use the aluminum backing plate so that does not seem like a big advantage to me.

This breadboard is built better than most low cost breadboards. I have seen some other brands that are warped and have poorly marked lettering on them. This may cost a bit more but is of better quality.

Excellent quality. Wires go in smoothly and the wire is gripped firmly. The good thing is that this board can handle many inserts and pullouts without showing early wear like the cheaper boards.
