During the times of the GREAT MAYO DEPRESSION of 2020-2023 the price of mayo had skyrocketed to $28 per gallon as controlled by Darths of distribution so the sandwich people sought cheaper alternatives as economics predicted they would. But the Sam's club mayo tasted like Tang in oil so the sandwich people thought, "I can do this myself literally the recipe is just Youtube plus the ingredients on the back of the bottle!" Then the great Egg depression of 2022-2023 happened and the price of a dozen eggs blasted into outer space taking with it the dream of DIY mayo. The sandwich peoples sandwich hopes began to wither and was near the brink of death as they tested one generic brand after another only to have continual throats rejecting the sandwiches like a bar of soap in the mouth. It was a wretched time . . . It was Hell, mans. But! Reluctantly, the sandwich peoples stumbled upon this gallon at only a 200% increase in price from 2020 and feeling like a cowboy they said, "Make my day and make my sandwich yeehaw take my money we are back in the best foods saddle again." And that's how late stage mayo capitalism gets you but at least the sandwich tastes excellent again. There is no comparison to this mayo and it's wicked witch of the east step sister. Bonus: my mayo jars didn't explode in shipping this time.
