Old school trowel. Excellent workmanship. The sharpened edges help you cut through roots as you dig. Solid hefty blade.
Handle is comfortable. Cuts through hard soil and roots easily

Very well made. No rivets to break with too much pressure. Handle is comfortable. Cuts through hard soil and roots easily.
If the shank were drawn out like a socket chisel or something

High quality on the whole, but I feel that calling it hand forged is taking advantage of a technicality. If the shank were drawn out like a socket chisel or something, I'd give it to them, but at best someone maybe beat the head into a mold before welding on the shank? Still, pretty high quality piece that should get the job done for many decades.
Excellent tool

I was replacing my trowel nearly every year because it would bend or break between the handle and spade. (I do a lot of digging and planting by hand). This one has taken a beating and stayed strong!
