better than expected

The reviews left me worried that the product would break quickly or be underwhelming at best, but I hated my calouses and the creams just weren't cutting it. My hubby saw me using it and ordered replacement rollers and now we leave it constantly charging and each of us use it everyday and have our own personal rollers (for sanitation reasons). We would highly recommend this and feel that the value is absolutely there. My husband even uses it to trim his nails (not an intended use). I don't expect that it will fail on us now as we've already used it so much and it still is working so well.
Finally, power and control

I have been putzing around with the low power ones, or the clumsy pumice rocks that are either too coarse and tear bleeding hunks outa my feet or so fine I can polish my callous till I can see myself in it.
This baby has the right idea, a strong cordless motor, good rechargeable battery and mineral rollers of each grade you might need.
It takes a long time to charge the first time, about sixteen hours. I learned a long time ago to treat special batteries in a special way so that you get the full life and power from them. So this one takes about that long, but DO NOT exceed sixteen hours. Better to go ten hours and quit than to overcharge.
I am thrilled with the results on all grades of roller grit.

Take a sander to your feet!
Julia Charles•November 26, 2015
My feet have always been a nightmare. The calluses can be seen from space. Consequently (and downward-spiral-inducingly), I have always tried to ignore them: they don't bother me, and I don't bother them. But recently, I noticed they're as dry and cracked as a California reservoir. So now, I'm actually working on getting them in a state where I can wear open heels. It's December, I'm in California, so I figure I have four months.
One of the things that attracted me to this product was that it was touted as "powerful." I have no frame of reference, but it seemed not particularly powerful to me. However, because a) as stated, my calluses are thicker than Sarah Palin, and b) I have no frame of reference for said "power," and c) as of right now, that is the only drawback, I gave the product four stars. Consider it four-and-a-half.
A few points:
1 - With the rotating head, this is really a sander. If you press much, the sander stops, so there is no danger of hurting yourself by mistake.
2 - Since this is rechargeable, it needs to be charged before you use it. The enclosed directions suggest 10-12 hours.
3 - You use this on dry feet, not wet. I did it over the tub, so the "sawdust" was easy to clean.
4 - To clean it, you can use the enclosed brush and clean it while it's dry, or run the head under water, as it's water-resistant. I have not tried the water yet, as I have only used this once and it seemed the dry brushing did an adequate job.
At first, I concentrated on the classics: outer heels, and big toe. No problem: the foot sander handled those areas, as expected. Next, since I have calluses on my foot pad by my toes, I tried sanding that down. The foot sander was small enough that it was able to get into the needed areas. Also, since these calluses were small-ish, they took just a few minutes.
I devoted about 20 minutes to my feet, and they are far smoother and definitely shoe-worthy now. I guess all those years of truce were unnecessary...
I like this better than my callus razor, because it produces a far better look than the razor does. It takes a while, but it seems far more effective than my pumice stone. It is now a part of my foot care routine.
By April, I hope to have such awesome feet I won't be able to walk down the street without foot fetishists throwing themselves at me. I. Cannot. Wait.

I am no longer a bathtub contortionist!!!
Nancy•May 6, 2015
For years between my professional pedicures, I would spend an extra half to an hour soaking in the bathtub so that the skin on my very dry cracked feet would be soft enough to remove with a pumice stone. Then I would go through the exhausting process of bending my leg in an unnatural and painful position so that I could scrub the bottom and sides of my feet. My heart would be pounding and I would be breathing heavily. I was so exhausted after scrubbing my feet is was was ridiculous ! All of this monkey business just to keep my feet smooth ? My feet did look terrible especially in summertime and I found that if I didn't keep up with my feet keeping them smooth, my panty hose would catch on my heels and snag and run, not to mention my feet would get to a point were they would crack so far up that I would be limping in total pain on my way to the podiatrist so that he could glue my cracked feet back together. He would always remind me that if I would just scrub or use an emory board like product on my feet, I wouldn't have this problem. I would tell him every time completely exasperated "I do !!! ,I am so tired of doing it " . He would reply that I wasn't doing it enough. My feet seemed to require enourmous amounts of attention, despite my exhausting efforts I could not do enough in my own, and I was forced to be at the mercy of a weekly pedicure. Of course I love getting them, but I doubt live the $75 or the three hours of downtime it took. There had to be a better way, I just couldn't keep up with any of it.
I FINALLY FOUND A BETTER WAY, A SUPERIOR WAY INFACT !! WITH MY CARE ME CM201 RECHARGEABLE CALLUS REMOVER!!
Gone are the days of contorting myself into painful positions so that I could scrub my feet with a useless messy pumice stone, no more expensive visits to the podiatrist for repairing my painful heels... No more wasted energy, money, and time on my feet. This machine is so strong and so effective and insanely easy I look forward to decrusting and smoothing up my feet. Which I can easy do now while watching tv in less than 10 minutes for both feet. This little machine has got serious power! I've had foot smoothing machines before - but they were a joke, they tickled my feet instead of gripping the dry areas and smoothing them away!! You can use it with the cord or without, I use it on my clean dry feet and while sitting on an ottoman I put a plastic grocery bag on the ground( to catch all my foot dust ) and let the machine power over my heels working back and forth where I can see the white dry flakey areas disappear. I move up to the pad of my foot the tips of my toes ( unreal how much dead dry skin is hiding on the tips of the toes). When all is said and done, I'm always shocked at the pile of dead skin on the grocery bag which I gather together and throw away. I rinse my feet off and slather cream all over them. My feet have never been better, there appearance is perfect and I have no more feet pain from deep cracks, my feet are much more comfortable in socks and pantyhose over the course of the day, and I've noticed that if I wore a very thick sock and my feet sweated a bit, since using this machine there I have no foot oder if I had a sweaty foot day , and my feet seem to better respond to temperate changes - I guess because the circulation in my foot is healthy. It is my opinion but if you have feet, no matter how great you think they look and feel- they will look and feel 20x better after using this callus remover one time. Best $35 I've spent in 20 years!!

I love this callus remover
Mary L.•April 1, 2015
I love this callus remover. I just used it for the first time and it is so much nicer than the manual ones. It is almost impossible to hurt yourself by accident. When I used the old manual ones ( the ones that look like an egg) I used to remove to much in some places and make my feet very sensitive. By the time I was finished with the old manual one my arms were very tired. I have spinal arthritus which makes my arms tire out early and they hurt. I bought the electric callus remover with the rechargeable battery. One charge is more than enough time to do both feet. I could probably do them twice on one charge. It is also a lot easier and faster. It removes the calluses a lot more evenly. I think that is the reason I did not get any part too deep to make my feet sensitive. Because it is much faster I also did areas that I did not do before, like around the edges of the toenails. This made my feet look a lot nicer. The instructions said not to use it on any other part of your body, but I was real careful and used it on some areas on the cuticles of my fingernails and it worked very well. It is much faster than an emery board. My arthritus did not act up either. This is a great product. Thanks
