I don't have a storage unit, so the bike has to sit outside. I live in NY, so I needed something to handle the varying weather. So far the cover has been exposed to rain, freezing rain, and two snow storms. As of the yet, the cover has been doing it's job.
The cover came with a bungee cord to keep the cover in place. So far I'm pleased with my purchase. In time, I would like to see how this cover fends against the summer heat. My previous case cracked and tore due to sun wear. Hopefully, this cover won't subdue to the same effects.

I bought this cover 5 years ago for a bike I keep parked outside under a pine tree. The large size perfectly fits my GSCR 1000. Pulls nearly almost the way down to the ground. It sat out in the sun in 100° heat and in the cold in 10° freezing. There were wind storms up top 65 mph and it still didn't come off. The fabric held up great...... The high heat fabric on the bottom never melted onto there hot exhaust pipes. All in all a great cover. I'm ordering another one today because it finally tore by the mirror turning it into a kite.
