Good portable floor

Before the purchase of this portable floor I was teaching line dancing on my carpet in my Zoom class. After 3 years of doing this I finally purchased the floor. It does give a little, but much better than dancing on carpet! I definitely recommend it.

Wife wanted this to practice tap and not ruin our wooden floors. Once all the pieces were laid out and I looked at the instructions for a few minutes, I was able to assemble it fairly quickly. I don't recommend using a hand to pound the pieces together, use a mallet. Wife is disappointed in the "lack of tap", but is glad for a place to practice. It is plastic, so maybe not that great to practice tap, but the rest holds up well.

The concept of the floor is cute. However, I don't think the floor is designed for anyone bigger than a child. There are gaps after you assemble the floor. I would recommend for a child just learning to tap.
Great for dance practice but took a while to assemble.

Overall good product for what I need for dance practice. It took me a while to figure how to assemble it. I read the one page instructions with it but it only had a small diagram for a 2x2 floor. I'm a visual person so I put together a diagram to reference to. Front side up, was able to snap the pieces together by carefully lining them up and stepping on them with pressure of my heel of my foot. I started with the panels first and then the edges. Once assembled, I labeled the back with numbers just in case I had to reassemble it (I hope not). Hope this helps anyone save time and frustrations.
