A Nice Treat

My son loved these cup cakes and all Hostess products when he was growing up. Now, he eats a very healthy diet, and it is rare that he has a treat like this. For his birthday, I decided to order these cup cakes for a surprise.
The cup cakes are chocolate with a white filling and covered with chocolate glaze. I would assume they are not as they were 30 years ago, but are made with less healthy ingredients. But, this is a one time treat, and I doubt he will have more than one. It will bring back memories of days of yore, and that will be fun.

I got lucky with mine...they were super fresh and delicious. They are definitely smaller than they used to be, which is disappointing. I'm going to take a chance and order them again because the ones I got were so yummy. Much fresher than I've ever gotten in a store. For a prepackaged cupcake, these are a good buy.
