I've had several reusable pouches before (the ones that look like the disposable pouches), and they have been hard to fill, hard to close, and really hard to get and keep clean. We only used them a few times before we threw in the towel and went back to buying pre-filled pouches. Then I decided to give the Squeasy pouch a try. I am so glad I did!

The hole is large enough to easily fill with a spoon (we use yogurt a lot since that's what my daughter loves).
The lid can't run away and be lost (yes!!!) and is totally spill proof when it's shut.
The red insert is for more runny foods like runny smoothies and such. We haven't tried it, but it looks like it would work very well and keep the liquid from spilling.
The entire thing disassembles for those deep cleanings (you can actually flip the silicone pouch all the way inside out if there's gunk in there that you need to scrub off!)
We usually just rinse it out really well as soon as she's done, but if it sits for a bit, we pull it all apart and scrub as needed.

Currently, I only have the 3.5 oz size. The last little bit (maybe half an ounce to an ounce) is difficult for my almost 9-month-old to get out, but she's learning (I can't get the last little bit out myself either). I plan to get a 6 oz size for my almost 3-year-old son.

I won't be going back to those awful to clean plastic pouches, that's for sure!

I am very pleasantly surprised with the Squeasy (altho that name makes me QUEASY!) bottles I just got here. I wanted a larger, flexible bottle into which I'd put shampoo and conditioner. I order those toiletries here at Amazon in GENORMOUS bottles, so I always need something smaller for the shower caddy at home. What I like about these bottles: 1.) well constructed! 2.) indeed very squeezable 3.) holds a generous 6 oz 4.) sturdy cap so you can actually store the bottle upside down (or rightside up, as they have flat bottoms) 5.) includes a sealer to put between bottle and cap that will absolutely keep these from leaking if you travel with them.

I know these Squeasys are made for FOOD, but I'm happy to report, the work super for toiletries, too. You could definitely put lotion in these.

I bought this for my 8 month old daughter who loves those disposable food pouches. I was indecisive on which size to get for her, but went with the 3.5 oz. She figured it out very quickly and sucks and squeezes it out. It has a no spill insert that is removeable which i love. The silicone collapses on itsself as the volume of contents goes down. She was able to get most of it out, but as others said, there is still a little in corners that i help her with. This size is perfect for her now, but i will need the larger size in a month or two. We put yogurt or applesauce in it, i let her do it herself, put it in the fridge intil next time, then reload and go. Wash it at the end of the day. I was making my own purees, but as she got older she wanted to self feed and wasnt patient enough for me to spoon them in. This gives her independence to self feed, keeps messes at minimum, and i can sneak in healthy homemade purees. A little pricey, but it is used multiple times a day, and i can avoid buying all those pouches. Good teether also!

I love these! Many other reviews do a really good job describing the many facets of the Squeasy Snacker. Please be sure to read through the most useful ones. I agree with the high praise that is given in the reviews. I would like to add my own personal endorsement. I am a quadriplegic with limited use of my hands. I often eat meals from my overbed table in my hospital bed. I wanted something that I could put peanut butter, hummus, mayonaise, and other soft foods in to make it easier for my caregivers to bring me my meals. I also wanted the freedom to use as much as I wanted. Regular squeeze bottles are too hard for me to squeeze and, quite frankly, are better for ketchup and mustard. Many squeeze bottles are hard to fill because of the small opening. The Squeasy Snacker was the solution I was looking for. It's easy to squeeze, even with my disability and the opening where you fill it is big enough to fill using a knife, spatula, or small spoon. I bought the product for use with paste like foods, but after using it a few times I already can see it's potential for other uses. When used for the peanut butter and hummus I don't need to use the the no spill insert, but it will come in handy if I decide to use them with thinner foods and liquids. They are easy to clean, easy to take apart and reassemble, are made from silicone, have a locking lid (it stays put so it won't flop down into your food or face), can be squeezed or sucked to get the food/liquid out, is easy to open and close, and comes in some nice color choices. Oh, and did I say I like the little hole on the lid where a small carabiner can be clipped. I definitely will be buying more of these, both in this size and the larger Squeasys. I love the review that tells how useful it is for tube feedings, which is a real possibility in my future. Being a former trained cook, I'm pretty picky about what I use in the kitchen and the Squeasy Snacker certainly passes muster. I wish I had had these when I had my kids. Imagine the ways I could have used them. As an aside, someone said they had a smell and I was concerned, since I very sensitive to smells. The two I have have no smell and don't add any flavor to whatever you put inside them.

We LOVE this product! We love it so much that I bought the 16oz a few days later! My daughter is tube fed and the great things about this thing is the tip fits perfectly into the end of her feeding tube OR the feeding syringe fits perfectly into the tip of the pouch so you have two options for feeding on the go! You can also freeze it AND throw it all in the dishwasher! Seriously, a game changer in our house. Thanks Squeasy Gear, for making our lives a little easier!
