Everything a butter dish should be

There was a review on here talking about how there is a small hole on the small handle on the lid. Mine came with it. But in all honesty it is not a huge deal I still absolutely LOVE the product and the color goes well with a few other of my kitchen stuff. I was worried it would break during shipping. So I made sure I bought it with 5 other things to make it not be by itself and it was perfectly intact. Would recommend this to anyone.
Looks very similar to FiestaWare-but more generous in size

I use FiestaWare pottery dishes and have for 50 years. I love the variety of colors, however I didn't love the size of the butter dish.. I recently broke the top of the Fiestaware Butter Dish and decided to look for other options.
This is an excellent compliment to the Fiesta yellows and the bottom is substantially larger than FiestaWare's.
I'm very happy with this essay expensive option and intend to see if there are more complimentary products in their catalog.

It is a nice dish, but it does not hold a square block of butter. The dimensions are miss leading in the description.
It's red and it has a knob. What more do you need to know

It's a little on the big side but I don't mind that at all. It's red and that means it goes with the other red small appliances in the kitchen. The knob on the top is what sold me. We have another one that does not have a knob and we were constantly dropping the top on the counter. This one has not been dropped once. :-). It is a bit more expensive that I wanted to pay for a simple butter dish but did I mention it's red? So, a few extra bucks and I'm not disappointed at all.
This is a must have kitchen product!

After reading through tons of mixed reviews, I decided to take a chance and order this butter dish. I am so glad that I did because it's perfect! It arrived undamaged and easily fits an entire stick of butter. I think the people who are complaining that it doesn't fit a whole stick unless it's cut in half must have ordered the square version of this product. I made sure to order the rectangular version.
It adds a pop of color to my kitchen and helps keep my kitchen looking tidy and organized. You can't beat the price or the quality.
