I spend a lot of time on keyboards/using mouse. I was starting to have chronic discomfort/low grade pain around my shoulder blades. While this pain was not overwhelming, it was constant and wore me out. What I like about these particular desk extensions, is that they are extremely adjustable. You can adjust not just where your arms sit (directionally), you can also adjust the height. I like to adjust mine up a couple of inches, so my fingers can dangle over the keyboard with minimal hand lift. These extensions have also helped my hands. But, most noticeably my shoulders are doing much better. You just have to remember to use them, and keep the stress off your hands and shoulders. I purchased 2 and am 100% satisfied.

These arm rests are AMAZING! I would leave 100 stars if it were possible! I have suffered with needle-sharp pain in my upper back for several years. I tried many braces and supports, but still was in constant pain. I even tried a kneeling chair, which was a huge improvement, but created other problems. Since there was no place to rest my arms, my shoulders and neck became quite sore and tense. I thought I might have to quit my job, which I cannot afford to do. I work at home at a computer at a job which I enjoy, but was suffering more and more. The pain was a couple of inches below my neck and was making me miserable. Then I found these "Desk Extensions" and because I have Amazon Prime I was able to get them the same day. I nearly hugged the delivery woman.

These have eliminated the nerve pain I used to experience in my mouse arm during long gaming sessions. Additionally, I feel like my aim has improved since I now have greater range of movement without my whole arm dragging on the mousepad.
The one improvement I'd like to see is for the padding to be thicker and extend all the way to the edge. Having a hard plastic bezel that sits higher than the padding isn't particularly comfortable.

I love these things. I had a severe case of bursitis at the end of last year and, since then, my elbows have been really sensitive to resting on the table surface while using my mouse or Wacom tablet. These supports allow me to put the entire weight of my arm on the forearm instead. I'm amazed at how smoothly they move and how much weight they seem to support. I installed one on my desk at home and the other in my office and now some of my co-workers have ordered a set after trying mine.

Yes, these arms are supposed to be for resting your arm but they turned out to be the best solution to mounting my computer speakers so that I could clear my computer desk top. They just clamp onto the desk (even a thick desk) adjust to the position you want and tighten to secure.
The armrest is curved but my speakers sat on them just fine because of the fabric cover. If you want to remove the curved rests they just unscrew and you can attach a piece of painted wood or anything else with a flat surface if you want.
Highly recommend for computer speaker mounting use.
