Does a great job keeping grasses and weeds out of my clover plot. Thought it to be a bit pricy at first but it lasts several seasons for my plot size and does what I need it to do.

I can't believe how good it works
Works well

I've used this for several years. It works and kills the grasses in my food plots but...1) it takes awhile to kill the grass and 2) it is very expensive. Cut the price in half and it gets a 5th star from me.

killed grass and didn't kill chicory or alfalfa

I read lots of reviews pro and con. In Northern Michigan I have multiple food plots that were grass and weed infested. I'm an organic gardener and prefer non-GMO meat and vegetables. The active ingredient in Arrest and Arrest Max (Sethoxydim for the older product and Clethodim for Arrest Max) are way safer to use and less toxic to humans and animals than your usual glyphosate, kill-all, weed killer/micro organism destroyer.

My first application I diluted to the max, not wanting to over do it. I didn't see much happen. A few weeks later I resprayed and mixed about 1.5oz/gal of water. I still didn't notice anything obvious for the first few days. But after about a week, including 1 or 2 good rains, I could easily see areas I sprayed and those I missed where there were distinct lines of lush grass where missed but other areas with no grass or heavily yellowed grass, some broadleaf weeds and lo and behold, my clover and alfalfa were coming through in strength.

I did not use Sure-Fire crop oil with the Arrest Max as it was advertised as not necessary. But my fall foodplot is about to be sprayed with a combo of Arrest Max, Slay for the broadleaf weeds and crop oil to get the Slay to adhere. When I see how that goes I will rate Sure-Fire crop oil on all 3 products used together probably about the end of July
