... for a trip overseas - wanted something small and easy to carry with an injured shoulder
kgm✓ Verified Purchase•October 13, 2017
I purchased this backpack for a trip overseas - wanted something small and easy to carry with an injured shoulder. The padding on the straps was just right and the ability to lock the chest strap took additional stress off of my shoulders. The two doubled zippered outer pockets provide plenty of room and have ties attached to the pulls and there is enough of the cord to tie them in a knot- or perhaps just a half-hitch. This was VERY useful, since I was traveling alone in Amsterdam, which has a horrible problem with pickpockets. The only pocket which is vulnerable to theft, is the diagonal single zip pocket - which I never kept anything in - which is a good thing, since a man did try to pick it open. The pack was small enough, that I was able to feel his attempt (or perhaps he was not up on his game that day!) There is an interior zippered pocket (in the larger of the compartments) that is large enough for a passport. The side pockets were large enough to accommodate my camelback insulated bottle (was a little hard to do when the bag is packed to capacity, but there are two loops - one on the top, one of the bottom that I could clip it to). I am a cyclist and think this pack will work well for times I want to bring a change of clothes or other things that won't fit in the back pockets of my jersey.
POSSIBLE CON: although small, it exceeds the size for most museums to allow you to bring through exhibits (even if you wear it face forward), so you must use a locker to stow it (most museums have them for free). I did not bring a purse on this trip, so this was a slight inconvenience, but since it was cold, I had a zipper pocket jacket that I could safely place my cash etc in before putting the pack in a locker. Had it been summer, this would have been more problematic, since I wasn't aware of daypack restrictions at most museums.

Awkward fit, even for a small woman

I am 5'3", 115 lbs and the fit was off. I lowered the chest strap as low as it would go and it still went across my collarbone area. So it was still too high although unlike other reviews, I did have plenty of length for both the stomach and chest strap to close since I'm on the smaller side. It just fit awkwardly due to the short length of the padded section of the shoulder straps that just made it over the shoulders about to the top of my armpits. That is why the chest strap was too high and could not be lowered anymore. Also the bag itself looked like it was made of cheaper quality materials that the image pictured her.
Great backpack, love the size, design and quality

I just got this little backpack today and so far I think it's really pretty great. I agree with the reviewer that said that it's obvious that it's made from quality materials. It was exactly the same color as the one shown (blue and grey). This is super cute and seems comfortable, I'm looking forward to trying it out on my next trip in a few days. I'll probably update but I can't imagine not loving it. I just needed something to hold my lunch, cell phone, and random small but essential items (maps, bug spray, car keys). It looks like the perfect size and feels like it weighs practically nothing. The waist and chest straps are a nice feature that I haven't had before but I'm sure can really come in handy while hiking. All in all seems like a great product and awesome that it has a place for a water bottle too. This is exactly what I wanted, I love when that happens.
Great water bottle holders

Exactly what I wanted for day tripping around NYC. Great water bottle holders, and I could fit my camera and other essentials like umbrella and snacks, but the small size helped me from not stuffing it too full like I would have with a larger pack. Very well built, spent a week straight stuffing it and dragging it around and it still looks brand new.
Perfect theme park backpack

We took this to Disney and it was great! Everyone that took turns wearing it said how light and comfortable it was.
