I love this system, until I found out how long the batteries lasted. It came with batteries that were below the 12v min required, so I replaced them with new when I installed the system. 2 months later I had to install new ones, They are easy to install but changing them every other month is a pain. it was easy to install (even with the broken English instructions) and it works great and I get a text on my phone within 10 sec. notifying me which sensor has been triggered. The siren is small but VERY LOUD. My only suggestion for installing the system is to pre check all sensors before trying to assign them a number, because if they have been preassigned a number from the factory they cannot be changed easily and my system had some assigned a number and some not. I wish they had more options in a standard package such as smoke detectors and camera
I bought this system after returning a much more expensive Fortress system that I had purchased and could not get to work after dealing with their tech dept for a week.

the alarm keeps on calling you even after you have pressed the disarm. needs work on programing of it. the pre-recorded voice doesn't play then it calls the preset numbers. I would not recommend it to anyone unless the issues are fixed.

It has only been 2 days but so far so good, the setup is kind of tricky but there is information on the web just google its model number 8218g and there will be information, and even youtube videos on how to set it up.
I tested it with a tmobile sim and a H2O sim wich i belive works on att network, both sim adquired signal and worked.
I have the sistem plugged in to the house phone line, when something happens it call me using the land line, and sends me a sms, if the line is out it calls using the sim.
The sensors look good, but feels cheap, functional tho.
The range is pretty far, the previous alarm system had problem with the sensor distance, but this one detect them without problem.
All the sensors use batteries, 23a for the door sensors and AAA for the infrared, I would sugest switching for brand name batteries after the included ones are depleted.
