Hands down, this is THE best tool I have in my arsenal toward acheiving better health!
Spike•January 31, 2018
I've used a lot of fitness journals over the years and this is HANDS DOWN the best one I've ever used! It makes daily tracking so easy and gives you plenty of room to write while still keeping the journal small enough that it's easy to carry around. The paper is smooth and lots of pens write well on it (something I really appreciate!), it lies flat and is sturdy because of the hard cover and elastic band you can use to keep it closed. There are places each week to go over your progress and plan the upcoming week and it's just enough to keep me focused and on track without being overwhelmed. I also love the tips, challenges, reminders and encouragement throughout the book! Last, I like that it's a six week book... Mentally, it's easier for me to commit to six weeks at a time than it is 3 months or 6 months like a lot of other journals, so add that to the list of things I love about it. I don't use every single aspect of the journal the way it was intended (e.g., right now, I'm focusing more on food than working out, so I sometimes use the workout section for writing a sentence or two about how I did that day), but I love the flexibility it gives to me while still providing the structure and encouragement I need for my journey toward better health. I promise - you won't be disappointed!!!
Let's talk a little about this amazing book!

I am loving this book so much! The idea of carrying a book around with me is great, I love it! We are in a time that everything is a computer, laptop, TV, cellphone etc. The fact you have to keep this book with you! You have to open this book! You have to write with a pen..(What is that) and you get to read along with this book and put in a little work! I wanted to miss a teaspoon of sugar I added to my coffee and I felt bad I was about to lie to myself so I went back and put it down for that day. This book makes you hold yourself accountable and is wonderful for anyone wanting to stay fit, get fit or just see what they are putting into your mouth all day everyday!. I got this book to lose the weight I put on last year (2017) and it's time to get myself together and stop being lazy and learn to "Eat to live not live to eat"! Give this book a real try and lets all get into our healthy mind, body and soul this 2018 together.
Fantastic Way to Kickstart or Maintain a Lifestyle Change
RaeKatz•November 28, 2017
I bought this item after getting one at a discounted price through a subscription box. This is my second one and I'll likely buy another one before I finish using this one. This is a great way to either "kickstart" a lifestyle change or re-dedicate yourself to an existing healthy lifestyle. I have lost 18 1/2 pounds in the past 10 weeks. I still have a long way to go, but this item has helped me focus on what I eat, when I eat it, and how it the meals make me feel. I have to say that I adapted part of the book to fit the "points" system used by a weight loss company instead of the servings shown in the daily tracker section. This helps me stay accountable and focused on today's goal instead of how far I have to go.
Each day, there is a section for you to handwrite your own motivational statement. Mine is usually something like: I'm going to get through today by making the right choices. I admit that my motivational statements in the beginning were more like, "I'm going to make it to the next meal without sabotaging myself," but looking through the past journal has really helped me identify the times of day that I struggle most and with the changes that I need to see on a daily basis.
In a digital world, it's really helpful to see something that is portable, convenient, and inconspicuous to carry around in my purse as a reminder of the changes that I'm trying to make. This does not promote a fad diet lifestyle and can transition nicely to the company's 12-week fitness trackers. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to make a change towards a healthier weight. The best part is that they recommend only trying to lose 5 pounds every 6 weeks, which has been shown in studies to promote better long-term weight loss than quick fix diets.

Great Way to Get Going to Reach Goals!
Runnergirl in MO•July 11, 2017
I love this little book. It is great for tracking food and setting fitness goals. The only thing it is lacking is a place to write some journal notes about what was going on that day that caused you to miss a work out or make poor food choices. Although, I just jot notes down in the snacks column because I usually don't have snacks to log. I use an online program for food journaling but there is something nice about physically writing the food down. For me it gives me more accountability. I love the plastic cover. It is very sturdy and has made trips to the gym with me. I made a mini-vision board on the front cover to remind me of my goals. I added a pocket on the hard back cover to keep things neat. Love this little journal!!! (I have the larger one BUT I like the small size of this one so that is why I have more than one....it keeps my goals in small 6 week chunks.)
Handy for Health

this is a great little book. so many information that can be added to trak your fitness. What I wish it had was an index on portion control. Serving sizes and even a Ounce, Cup, Ml etc conversion table.
