Every Sago Mini app I've tried is an instant hit with my kid... and very fun for me looking over his shoulder, or listening from nearby. In addition to great graphics and humorous animations, they have excellent sound quality and interaction. I particularly enjoy the lack of words - all the apps I've tried have been completely visual with an emphasis on interacting with the objects on the screen (e.g. help "pack" for the trip by dragging items into the suitcase; gas up the car halfway there; car wash bubbles, etc)
Sago apps are fun for the littles.

I like the Sago apps. They are fun for the littles and demonstrate basic cause and effect. They touch the screen and something happens. They make a convenient distraction when you just need a minute of quiet, which is about all I get with my 16 month old ;)

My 2yo (almost 3yo) daughter loves this game. There is no right or wrong way to play. You get to make many decisions from what to pack in the suitcase, which vehicle to drive, which friend to drive to, and whether you want to stop to fill up for gas or wash the car on your journey. Kids will need to continue to hold down their finger to drive the vehicle, however they drive backwards, forwards, fast, slow and even drive in the sky. This game is practice for similar but more complex games but allows your child freedom and they won't get easily frustrated by rules/ goals of games.
Simple game

I only give this four stars due to the simplicity of the game - not a lot to it. BUT - if you have a young child and they're learning to use a tablet - this is a VERY wonderful starter game for them!! Simple motions and limited hand movement is required making a great toddler game, but it keeps my older children interested (for a while).
