I love the combination of ingredients. What is used is not commonly found (all together) amongst other brands of beard oil (especially olive oil which really adds to the oils thickness and quality). I like how it really settles into your beard, and doesn't easily spread all over your face and neck in comparison to most other beard oils I've used. It adds a nice shine and smooth manageability when shaping and/or combing. I really can't think of any cons. The scent is neither good, nor bad. So no issues there, and the price is more than reasonable. I'll be using this product for a long time :)
I do however recommend for my new fellow bearded brothers, to first apply a beard balm, and then this beard oil on top of that for maximum effect.

Smooth Viking is some of the best bear oil you can get without breaking the bank. I have tried them all between 30 dollars an ounce and the dollar beard club and nothing can touch this.

When I was shopping for beard oil, this was about half the price of other beard oils, but the reviews were among the best, so I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed. Smooth Viking has a nice, mild scent that my wife likes, does a great job of keeping my beard nice and smooth without stray scraggilies, and keeps my beardruff under control. I even rub the residue into my hair, and that looks great, too! I just use three drops every morning (I keep my beard trimmed with a number 8 guard, and it's rather thick), and the bottle I bought nearly a year ago still has plenty in it! You can't get a better bang for your buck.

Got this for my best friend in his birthday. He has auburn hair and a red coarse type beard that always looks messy no matter of he just combed it or not due to flyaways. This oil has helped him so much, he likes the shine it gives his beard and the condition of his beard hair seems to be improving. Over all he said he will keep using it since the product goes a long way and seems to nourish his beard well. All I care about is he looks a lot more like a man than a sasquatch now.
Update: Just got a visit from the bearded wonder, his beard is 100% better than before. Thicker. Healthier. Less frazzled. He likes this product and said he will continue using it.

Ordered while working as a contractor in Afghanistan, my beard was growing out slowly and I was at the "unbearable itch" point in the growth process. I had never previously used any beard products whatsoever....just let the beast grow and it always looked like a shrub got stuck under my face. The oil arrived and I began use according to recommendations found online. Within 24 hours of the first application my itching had halted. 3 days later I was feeling a noticeable change in the softness of the beard, and while I have no way to actually prove or quantify it, the beard hair "felt" more appealing and healthy. I found myself combing, rubbing, stroking the beard more frequently, paying more attention to it. There is a very slight odor to the oil which I am unable to describe, as it is so faint and my nose is pretty well shot. The oil provides no shape or hold to the beard whatsoever, but it does eliminate the itch and makes the beard more manageable; easier to get a comb through, fewer tangles and pulls. In terms of price, and the number of individual oils blended into the final product, you really can't beat the value. End result: yes, I will order and use this product again.
