great idea. seems to work mostly quite well. I also sew it on after ironing it because it tends to start peeling after a few uses. make sure you iron on the correct side the first time: there is not enough glue to do it twice. wish there were options for weight/stiffness as I seem to find many uses for this.

Used to mend a small slit in the side panel of a twill bag -- the tape began peeling off after about two weeks. It would probably be okay for light-duty areas such as the hem on lightweight trousers.

I used it to hem jeans and pants. You have to soak it in water before iron on. It works temporarily but hem came off after 4-5 wash, but it is better than other iron product I had tried.

Works well. Make sure to let the iron stay on the fabric long enough to activate the adhesive. This connects the hem line to the fabric instead of fusing . Easier and looks better I think. changed this to one star. did not hold up to a machine wash. darn.
